Whats New

As a Clinical Team were are currently undertaking some further training in relation to our Biopsychosocial model of care.
This Health Psychology Masters level qualification enables us to complete primary research in the field of the Biopsychosocial model we have chosen to focus on the impact the model has on our staffing team and their communication and interactions with our service users.
We will also be completing a systematic review into the current model of interventions for young people with complex and challenging needs.As a result of this level of training we will be looking at continuing the professional development as a chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and complete the HCPC registered Doctoral training in Counselling Psychology. This will enable us to complete a full thesis research project on the Biopsychosocial model and the impact this model of care can have on young people with complex and challenging needs.
